Here are a few sets to get you going (Update: 9/24) FIXED THE SPACING ISSUES!!!: I would have to venture to guess though that at least 95% of the songs I've converted end up working near perfectly. Pitch bending gets screwed a bit on the conversion, but that can be fixed with right knowledge of midis and a good ear, or so I've been told. Samples can be off just a bit from their originals possibly because they may not have been intended to be heard in such good quality. Now obviously with Sappy -> Midi conversions there's going to be a few quirks. As a result, you end up with a nearly identical song with a sound quality that is unimaginably superior to the original. The main difference with this one, however, is that it automatically compiles the samples into a soundfont and adjusts the midis to correspond with its appropriate, in-game, sample. (You kinda have to go out of your way to get it to work, but once you get the hang of it, its a breeze.) It does what most Sappy tools do, rips the midi and high quality samples that get butt-raped by the GBA's audio handler. Sorcerian: The Cursed Oasis - Sand CastleĪlso of note is that one of the guitarists on Falcom's live band is Masaru Teramae aka one half of Demetori. So I've been messing around with GBAmusRiper, (no that's not a typo), a semi-annoying tool with some very neat functions. Gurumin - Soaring Through the Melancholy Skies Zero no Kiseki - Get Over the Barrier! -Roaring Version. Trails in the Sky the 3rd - Overdosing Heavenly Bliss Trails in the Sky FC - Hollow Light of the Sealed Land Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys - The Great Forest of Celceta Ys: The Oath in Felghana - Illburns Ruins I'll try to limit things to one per game so expect some stock choices for those familiar. There appears to be a severe lack of Falcom here. Persona 3 - When The Moon's Reaching Out Stars I like the melody and the protagonist even says its catchy! The voice varies in the version you listen to. Philistine (Margaret's dual theme) (Japan version) - No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle Philistine(Margaret Moonlight's dual theme) (Us version) - No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle Pleather For Breakfast (Bad Girl's dual theme) - No More Heroes Reality hits like a freight train, your partner is starting to process the recent events. Your partner is on the rainbow stoneship. Your poor partner is probably still in shock from what just happened.įarther away. This is what truly starts the emotional roller-coaster, the ending of the main story. I am only going to list three closely related pieces however.ĭon't ever forget. I am thinking specifically about Explorers of Time/Darkness however, since those are the only ones I've played. The Pok?mon Myster Dungeon series, while not played as the traditional Pok?mon games, houses some true gems. If his standard theme would describe heading toward the event horizon, this theme describes passing it. It's like noticing that your spaceship is heading toward an event horizon fast.ĭecisive Battle! N. His standard theme has a sense of foreboding about it. The Equated Captives (Encounter! N) N is so cool! :* His encounter theme is also pretty cool. I tend to prefer battle or encounter themes over all other types of themes. Sadly, I don't have quite as many favorites when it comes to BW and BW2. I really like the buildup and aftermath in her theme. If it wasn't for the Team Galactic Admin battle theme being so good, this would be my favorite.īattle! Champion Cynthia. Pretty childish-sounding theme, but I think it's well made.īattle! Team Galactic Admin. The bass in Steven's encounter theme is really badass.ĭPPt has some of my favorite Pok?mon tunes:īattle! Rival. I won't list some of the more widely known themes like Battle! Lance/Red and such, because even though many of the older (Gen I & II) themes are very awesome, everybody knows them already.Ĭhampion Steven Stone. There's a lot of Pok?mon game music that I like too. I never got around to finishing Chrono Trigger, but there is one theme in that game that I particularly enjoyed: Frog's Theme. There is another soundtrack in GS: TLA that I think many forget: Jenna's Battle Theme.
